Round Seven

Ballajura 1 - 0 North Lake

Ballajura AFC were sent crashing back to earth after a 1-0 loss to North Lake. Ballajura named an unchanged lineup apart from replacing the suspended Cody Bolton with Gavin Brady. Ballajura did themselves no favours though in missing a host of chances which they ending up regretting.

North Lake took the lead in the first half when a whipped ball found an unmarked North Lake player who sent it across goal for an oncoming striker on the end of the strike. There were calls for offside but the referee was having none of it. Ballajura continued to attack and search for an equaliser but nothing was going right for them.

Ballajura Line-up: A. Best, M. Hoy (A. Trutwein 80'), B. Divily, M. Etheridge (Z. Shariff 65'), A. Bagini , A. Tharby , C. Rogers, D. Fouracre , G. Davidson, G. Brady, S. Mammoliti
