Round Nineteen

Ballajura 1 - 2 BB United

Ballajura succumbed to a 2 -1 defeat to fierce rivals BB United at Kingfisher Reserve on Sunday. Ballajura had the lions share of chances but still suffered from the yips in front of goal. BB United went 1-0 up halfway through the first half when a great through ball was sent over the defence for the United captain to latch onto and hit into the bottom corner with a great finish.

Ballajura started the second half the same way they finished the first dominating possession and making numerous chances but continued to spurn them. Scoring looked much harder to come for Ballajura when Michael Hoy was sent off for being the last man despite the United striker pulling down Hoy. Fortunately for Ballajura, Damien Fouracre managed to pull a goal back for Ballajura only for a injury time free kick from just outside the box sending the United fans into raptures.
