Sunday League Div 1 First Team

With only two points to show from four matches, draws against North Perth and Hamersley and away losses to Lynwood and Whitford, the Sunday League Division One first team were having an indifferent start to the season.

All this was put behind them with a great win against top-of-the table and previously undefeated South Perth Utd at Challenger Reserve on May 16th.

A couple of great goals from Rob McDonnell and Ben Hasler saw BAFC produce the shock (to some) of the round. The first goal was a sweet volley from the left edge of the penalty box and the second was the result of a passage of flowing football, with a series of passes from defence to the forward line without the hosts getting a foot on the ball - finished off by a powerful shot from our very own 'Mundine'.

The boys hope to build momentum from here and climb up the ladder through the rest of the season.
