Sunday League Division One first team struck a purple patch in the past two matches with wins at home and away.

On 4 July the boys had a rare win against neighbours BB United in emphatic fashion, completely outplaying the Bosnians all over the park. The result was a 5 - 2 victory that was savoured by Balla players and spectators alike.

This was backed up on 11 July by an even more impressive 6 - 2 away win at Kingsley. The score could and probably should have been a lot more but for a host of chances that just missed, well missed or were well saved by a very busy Kingsley 'keeper.

The Reserves are going from strength to strength and followed their 3 - 3 draw with BB with a relatively easy 4 - 2 victory at Kingsley.

With the halfway point of the season just passed the teams line up against Kingsley at home on 18 July and hope to inflict more misery on the boys from Chichester Park.

First Team are now sitting fourth in a very tight League and the Reserves are deservedly in joint first place just behind South Perth on goal difference.
