Ballajura Reserves have jumped to the summit of the Reserves Ladder after somehow only defeating Joondalup United by 2 goals despite a host of chances on offer.
Ballajura Masters were defeated 4-3 by Joondalup City FC on Sunday.
Ballajura's worst fears were confirmed last night when right back Brendan Skinner received the news all at the club were dreading - His season is over. Skinner has ruptured his Anterior Cruciate Ligament - The second time he has sustained the injury - during the game against Maccabi. Skinner will be hoping to have surgery soon to recover and make his way back onto the field.
